Robert Lee Dodson, 51, of Washington, Va., was thefatal victim of a traffic collision Tuesday night on Route 211 a mile south of the town, lie was a passenger in an auto driven by his brother Lari Wilson Dodson. This is the first fatality on Rappahannock roads this year.
The crash involved two vehicles: a 63-64 Pontiac owned and operated by Ldward II. Bailey, Sr. of Washington and the Dodson car, a 63 Chevrolet owned by Mrs. Lllzabcth Dodson, all of Washington, Va.
Bailey had stopped on the highway to make a left turn into his drive, and was struck in the rear by the Dodson vehicle, according to Trooper J. B. Willis who Investigated.
Robert Dodson sustained severe lacerations of the neck when he was thrown through the windshield and was pronounced dead at the scene by Dr. J. P. Snead, said the trooper. George Haywood Dodson a passenger, received
