When all thefowls were notified, (both male and female) whom should they encounter but Foxy Loxy. It was just like a bqmbshell - there he' was licking his chops and watching his chances for all the goodies he’d get. Chicken Little is someone who like to explore for herself. One day she was out walking and come to a sign which read "Corporate Limits of Washington, Virginia." Right then and there she took out her little measuring rod to find out how far it was to the proposed quarry. It turned out to be less than a mile - really convenient for the town folks.
Living in the barnyard was big D. Dominic rooster. I le had a way of scratching a round and bringing to light problems that the barnyard didn’t know exist ed. What do you reckon he wanted to do - build a big dust bin right in the middle of that barnyard. Not having been blinded, as D. Dominic was, by a vision of pennies from heaven, Chicken Little could readily sec that his health was at stake. So the barnyard voted it down. Now Chicken Little is not a skilled worker but she intends to take a course that will qualify her for a permanent job when the quarry opens as it will employ such a large number of workers.
