Plan Egg Hunt
I April activities are being] planned at a great rate, for all age groups, by the Amissville Ruritan Club. At their: dinner meeting last Wednes- | day evening, a new date was added to their programcalen-1 dar which already includes a Ham and Turk.ey dinner fori April 6. Serving of certified country; ham and turkey will begin at1 5:30 p.m. and continue until! 8. Adults will pay $1.75 and! children under 12, admitted for 75 cents. A portable TV and a radio will be given away during festivities. The Egg Hunt will be something new for Amissville and will be held on the grounds adjacent the fire department on Easter Sunday afternoon. While essentially a children’s iffair, the judges will not rule out some grandmothers who may wish to shed some years in a moment of reclaimed girlhood.
The final event of next month’s program is the Amisss ville Horse Show, Rescheduled for April 27 to avoid confliction of dates, arrangements were outlined for the erection of the necessary ring, jumps and other essentials which will offer a completely qualified program. The grounds adjacent the fire hall have been offered for the show. All interested equestrians should contact Chairman Allen Cooper at 825-1 1 14.
