Significant of the season are the apple trees in Rappahannock, which during the Easter weekend burst forth with new life. After a long dormant period, the trees donned their spring finery in shades of delicate pink, green and white and paraded with the dogwood, redbud, wUteria, tulips and jonquils over lawns, gardens and hillsides everywhere.
