Gobbler hunting is limited to the hours between one-half hour before sunrise and 10 a m. Standard Time during the upcoming April 22-May 11 season, reminds Game Commission Law Enforcement Chief John MacLaughlin. Only bearded turkeys are legal game during the three week period. Electronic callers, dogs and organized drives are strictly prohibited. When Eastern Daylight time goes into effect, beginning April 28, hunters will have to add an hour to published Standard Time sunrise sched ule and will be allowed to stay in the woods until 11 a.m. Daylight Time. Turkeys killed are to be tabbed with a turkey tab from a current big game license. Hunters who use both turkey tabs during the fall season may not hunt. Persons who did not purchase a big game license for the fall season may buy one for the spring hunt.
