C. was a visitor Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Flncham and family and also attended a meeting of the Anglers Club near Nether’s Mill, of which he is the president. On Thursday, March 28, Olney Kennedy celebrated his 69th birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Kennedy had as their dinner guests Mr. Kennedy’s sister Mrs. Benny Jenkins and Mr. Jenkins of Brandy Station, Mrs. Florence Jenkins of Rixeyville, Mrs. James Jenkins of Mitchell, his niece Mrs. Lottie Clatterbuck and Mr. and Mrs. Gld Flncham and son Don of Culpeper, and Mrs. Waver Kennedy of Slate Mills. Mrs. Iris Brooke spent the week-end with her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Johnson and family ol Crooked Run. Mr. and Mrs. Russell spent the week-end In Clifton Forge especially to visit Mrs. Settle’s brother-in-law Luther Elkins of Charleston, W. Va. who Is undergoing treatment in the C. and O. Hospital there.
