Everyone at one time or another has heard an individual making demands for his rights; but, has anyone ever heard of an individual asking about his respect and his responsibilities. It is a rare thing, if not impossible to hear of such a thing. Our government has established these “individual" rights, but also protects them and demands respect for them as we all knowi The three terms are interrelated as to be impossible to separate. It might be a fine thing, if a man had only to accept his own individual rights without further concern for anything or anybody. Seemingly this would be a wonderful place in which to live. History however has taught us that individual rights can not exist without individual respect, and responsibilities accompanying them. Most of us are aware of the fact that culture of a society is forever changing for better or worse. One can plainly see that the morals of our society have drifted downward, because we are trying to huild characters with machines.
