Degree in Theology
The Reverend C. Edward Pruitt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie W. Pruitt, Tangier, Virginia received the Bachelor of Sacred Theology degree from We6ley Theological Seminary, Washington, D. C. on May 27, 1968.

Presently serving the Rappaannock Charge which includes Willis Chapel, Sperryville, Washington and Flint Hill Methodist Churches.
He received his A. B. degree from Scarritt College in Nashville, Tennessee. He is married to the former Portia Wheatley and has two children. During his first year at Wesley Seminary he served as pastor of Frederick Avenue Methodist Church in Baltimore, Maryland.
Wesley Theological Seminary, Methodist, founded in| 1881, is now located on a new campus in Washington, D. C. adjacent to The American Uni verslty, where it 18 currently training more than 250 men and women for the Christian ministry and Christian education.
