Edward J. Clopton of Baltimore, Md. was a business visitor here several days last week. Mrs. C. W. King remains a patient in the Winchester Me morial Hospital where she is visited regularly by members of her family and friends. Sunday dinner guests of Miss Mary Miller Wood were the Rev. and Mrs. Ray Williams and son Scott of Front Royal, Mrs. Earl Edmonds and son Eddie Edmonds of Huntly. Ed die Edmonds has recently returned home from Chowan College and will return for summer school.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul D. Summers entertained with a dinner Sunday afternoon at their home “The Shade”. Guests of honor were Mr. and Mrs. Beas ley of Tokoyo, Japan.

Mrs. Mamie Wrenn of Washington, D. C. was the guest for several days last week of her sister Miss Lucy Estes. Miss Nancy E.
