Mr. and Mrs. George Butler, Jr. and family of Herndon, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Butler and daughters and Mr. and Mrs. George Butler, Sr. of Boston were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Paul F. Butler and family. Sunday afternoon Mr. and Mrs. George Butler, Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. George Butler, Jr. visited Stant Weaver at his home in Washington, Va. Mr. and Mrs. Brew Burke and daughter Peggy spent the week-end in Silver Spring, Md. visiting Mr. and Mrs. James Hamilton and family. They also visited friends in Wheaton, Md. Mrs. James Glover and son Glen and the Misses Kathy and Pat O’Hara of Washington, D. C. were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Thornhill and daughter Luellen. Mrs. Luther Elkins of Charleston, W. Va. and Mrs. Russell Settle left Thursday for Clifton Forge. Mr. Elkins who has been confined in the C. and O. Hospital there returned to Slate Mills with them for a weeks rest.
