June 3 - Amiseville Homemakers Club meets at 7:30 p. m. at the Baptist Church for the regular monthly program. Topic will be “Safety for the Woman on the Highway and In the Home." June 4 - Woodville Homemakers Club will meet with Mrs. Amos Butler beginning at 7:30 p.m. If you haven’t done so, you homemakers will soon be putting away your family winter garments. Storing the clothes uncleaned will sure make the moths love you, but your family may be upset with the results of the moth’s work. Moths are attracted to soil on garments and will find places to hide in closets that are dusty and dirty. Of course, the right way to store clothes is to have them cleaned thoroughly, protect them with moth balls, crystals, flakes or spray and store them properly.
Be sure your storage closets are as airtight as possible. Woolens can also be protected by wrapping and sealing them in paper or in a cardboard box after they have been treated with moth flakes, crystals, balls or spray. As in any use of chemicals, read and follow label directions carefully.
