Entering of hounds will get underway at 9:00 a.m., September 11th. The Bench Showo starts that night at 8:00. Alert, efficient, and mannerly are three descriptive words of the judge, Mr. A. A. LeGrande of Boydton. Is there any better or more colorful hound man anywhere in the U.S.A.? He will have his hands full, as all classes are usually overflowing with entries of top hounds.
The only complaint heard at the show last year was from a disgruntled owner who moaned over getting no better than 10th in either the “Best” or the “Ugliest” hound classes!
Hounds will be cast at daybreak on the 12th, 13th and 14th. An abundance of red and grey fox
