Miss Jean Lillard spent the weekend with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Carson Lillard and returned Monday to her teaching position in District Heights, Maryland. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Lillard and daughter Christine of Aldington were week-end guests in the Lillard home.
Miss Judy Lillard will leave this week to resume her teaching position in Woodbridge.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Huff and family were visitors Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Wood and Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Payne in Culpeper.
Spring Sales Net $330.
Mrs. W. B. Jenkins, Chairman of the Ladies Auxiliary Rummage Sale, reports that the spring sale netted $330 for the Washington Fire Company and Rappahannock Rescue Squad for which the sale is held twice a year. Now is the time to collect salable articles and donate them. The Sale opens in the Post Office building basement, September 5 and continues every Thursday and Friday through the month from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
