The eighteen competent, many nationally known, field judges who have already accepted invitations will be headed by Gerald, Simmons as Master of Hounds. Many of you have seen these men in action at the National, The U. S. Open, Texas Open, Mid-South Open, as well as many state trials. Judging field hounds at any trial is strenuous. Judging at the NFFHA is reputed an honor. Judges must do their work intently and correctly or they will not be invited back.
National rules will govern throughout the Trial. Awards to the winners will be am pie-ribbons, challenge and permanent trophies for each Class, and High General Average for both Derby and All-Age Hounds.
