Mrs. W. A. Gentry accompanied by . her granddaughter Sharon E. Dodson of Staunton visited relatives last week in Flint, Mich, and were guests of Dr. and Mrs. T. N. Scott in Ames, Iowa. They also attended the State Fair at Des Moines, Iowa.
Mr. and Mrs. John Reagan returned Saturday from a week’s visit with their son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. James Cloman at their shore home in Surf City, N. J. Pvt. Walter E. Krause, Jr. who has recently been stationed at Fort Carson, Colo, is on temporary duty this week at Great Lakes, Illinois and serving at the Democratic Convention at Chicago. Guests last Wednesday of Mrs. Mary Krause were Mr. and Mrs. William G. Lundberg and two sons Billy and Freddie of Hyattsville, Md.
Mr. and Mrs. Patterson Biggs, Mrs. Thelma Russell, Mr. and Mrs. Emory Russell and son Terry returned recently from a ten day motor trip to Michigan, Canada and Wisconsin. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Biggs and Mrs. Thelma Russell were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. James R. Johnson in Luray.
