Three New Trustees
Appointed To Library
Judge Rayner Snead recently appointed three new Trustees to serve different terms on the Rappahannock Library Board. They are Mrs. J. Newbill Miller, Col. Evan A. McNear, and Mrs. Elmo D. Flynt. They will replace Mrs. C. E. Johnson, jr., Mr. Ike Parrish, and Mrs. N. K. G. Tholand whose terms have expired.
The financial and policy responsibility of Rappahannock Library is in the hands of Five Trustees, one of these is permanent, the Superintendent of Schools, Mr. O. A. Norton of Front Royal, the other of the five is Wm. M. Carrigan, Chairman. They are members of the Library Board too. The Board is composed of the Librarian, Treasurer, and Secretary with the committee chairmen of each of the six Districts, and the five Trustees. The responsibility of the Board is to manage and operate the Library programs for the whole County.
