Dinner guests last Monday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Johnson were the Rev. John Farrar of Culpeper and the Rev. and Mrs. B. G. Titchenell.
Dr. W. B. Denson of Richmond was the over-night guest last Wednesday of the Rev. and Mrs. B. G. Titchenell. Their dinner guests on Thursday were Dr. and Mrs. R. Carrington Paulette of Washington, D. C.
The Rev. and Mrs. F. Lawson Pankey and family of Richmond;
were guests of Mrs. R. L. Rudasillj several days last week. Mrs.; Rudasill and her guests and Mr.| and Mrs. Titchenell were dinner guests Friday of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. O’Bannon and family.
Mike Titchenell left Sunday to resume his studies at Georgetown College, Georgetown, Kentucky.
The Woodville Home Demonstration Club met September 3 with Mrs. Amos Butler. “What’s New in Fabrics” was discussed by Mrs. Betty Wood. The following were in attendance: Mrs. June Clark and Misty Hitt, Mrs. Julia Wood and Henry B., Mrs. Raymond Johnson, Mrs. Edward Brown and Bridget, Mrs. James Falls, Mrs. B. G. Titchenell and Sue and Mrs. Butler.
John O’Bannon of the University of Richmond spent the weekend with his parents at Clover Hill.
A Nominating Committee of the Shiloh Association met Tuesday night at the Methodist Parsonage with the Rev. and Mrs. B. G. Titchenell. Present were the Rev. William Harrison of Sperryville, the Rev. Dott Bryan of Slate Mills and the Rev. Robert Ellis of Culpeper.
Dr. and Mrs. W. E. Hopkins and three children of Norfolk spent some time recently at their home Walnut Knoll.

Chief Warrant Officer Roger A. Palmer, USN, 47, husband of the former Miss Jessie G. Gaunt of Route 1, Sperryville, Va., is serving aboard the destroyer tender USS Shenandoah.
The Shenandoah is scheduled to arrive back in the U. S. in late August after more than four months with the Sixth Fleet in the Mediterranean. During the cruise, the ship stopped in Naples, where the crew had a chance to visit several historical cities of Italy.
