Mrs. Shelton Grimsley called a few days ago to report her husband, due to poor health, had not been able to make any hay this season and consequently had a nice herd of Hereford cows with calves at side to sell. There are around 16 head of cows included, mostly about 5 years old with possibly one being eight. We’re sorry to learn “Shelt” has been ailing - hope he’ll recover soon after his case is diagnosed. You Hereford breeders might well look into this opportunity. The Grimsley’s phone (675-3672) is not listed in the Front Royal directory but is included in the C&P directory of county phones.
