Merrill was in New York City from August 25 to August 28 to attend the showing of new Fords. Mrs. Charles C. Burke and Mrs. Lyle Rector were visitors Friday of Mr. and Mrs. Welton Brown and Mrs. Boo ten Beahm in PCulpeper. Mrs. Beahm had celebrated her 92nd birthday the day before. Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Burke spent Sunday and Monday with their son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. John Metzger at Lorton.
W. M. Stuart of Beltsville, Md. spent several days this week at his home on Blue Ridge Avenue. His son John Stuart, Mrs. Stuart and two children of Beltsville spent Sunday at the Stuart home. Mrs. Park Dickerson and daughter Lynn returned last Wednesday to their home in Johnson, Vt. and were accompanied by Mrs. Dickerson’s parents Mr. and Mrs. George H. Davis, jr. who visited a week in the Dickerson home. Mrs. C. H. White of Linden was a Sunday dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Miller at Millermead.
