AmB’sville Fire Department responded to a fire Saturday morning at the Village Beauty Salon just east of Amissville. The fire was contained in the utility room of the building where it apparently started from a faulty electric wire. The remainder of the huildng suffered smoke damage. The fire was discovered by a passing motorist from Louisiana who turned in the alarm a b't after seven a.m. Business at the beauty shop continues as usual.
