Present for the celebration the past week, also, were Mrs. Walker’s sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William J. Coleman of Lynchburg, who celebrated their silver wedding anniversary in Lynchburg last year, December 26, 1967. Mr. and Mrs. Coleman were married in Calvary Episcopal Church in Front Royal, December 26, 1942, and it has been customary, whenever possible for the two sisters and , their husbands to commemorate ; their anniversaries together each December during the past 25 years. Mrs. Coleman was matron of honor in Mr. and Mrs. Walker’s ; wedding.
Mr. Walker is a native of North Carolina, and his wife was a . native of Rappahannock County, before moving with her parents, , the late Mr. and Mrs.JPhiUp Byrd « East ham, 44 years tfo.tO'ntCMit . Royal, to make their home.'
Mr. and Mrs. Walker are well known in Northern Virginia i where they are actively engaged , in general insurance and real . estate business in Front Royal.
