Service* Trinity
Ash Wednesday will be observed at Trinity Episcopal Church, Washington on February 15 at 12 o’clock noon. There will be a short service of Litany led by Rev. William Hargett and will not exceed twenty minutes.
A series of Lenten programs at Trinity Church will begin Thursday, February 20 and continue each successive Thursday in Lent. A covered dish supper will begin at 6 p.m. and will be followed by a discussion led by the Rector. Everyone is invited to attend.
Sperryville Firemen Set July 16-19 Carnival
Dates for the annual Sperryville Firemen’s carnival have been set for July 16, 17, 18 and 19. This action was taken at a recent meeting of that group with Robert F. Estes as president. A general discussion of carnival plans was also held.
