Break-Ins Occur
Bel Air Restaurant in Amissville and Ben Venue Service Station both in Rappahannock and a service station at the intersection of Routes 211 and 229 in Culpeper County were broken into Monday night. Vending machines were pried open emptied of coins and some beer was taken.
This was a repeat performance for the Ben Venue station which was broken into two weeks ago.

C. H. Lamb, Commissioner of the Division of Motor Vehicles, issues an appeal to Virginia Motor Vehicle owners who have changed their address since securing their 1968 license plates.
The Division is now in the process of preparing for mailing applications to owners of motor vehicles so that they can purchase 1969 license plates when they go on sale in March.
Certain information is needed by the Division if you have changed your address since you last purchased Virginia license tags. On a postal card or letter state the following: your full name as shown on vehicle registration card or title, the Virginia title number, your 1968 license number if you have a current license tag, make and year model of vehicle, identification of engine number of vehicle, new address including zip code number, and old address. Mail this information promptly to the Division of Motor Vehicles, P. 0 Box 1298, Richmond, Virginia 23210 to insure receipt of new license application in March.
