OBITUARIES
Cleveland Ramey
Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. at Clore Funeral Home for Cleveland Marcus Ramey, 82, of Slate Mill who died Saturday, February 8, 1969 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital. The service was conducted by the Rev. Dott Bryan. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
Mr. Ramey, a fanner, was a native of Rappahannock County, a son of the late Edwin and Albena Payne Ramey, both of Rappahannock.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Ethel Golden Ramey, he is survived by two foster children, Charles W. Racer and Mrs. Mabel L. Keys, both of Boston; two sisters, Mrs. Nettie Riggin of Salisbury, Md., and Mrs. Robbie Me Cowan of Winchester.
Pallbearers were S. K. Andes, A. Lawton Blankenbaker, Russell Settle, Norman Wilbur, Virginius Weaver, Gid Jenkins and Connor Jenkins.
