Board Chairman J. Newbill Vliller, said that the Board of Assessors had completed its work and several adjustments had been made.
A letter from Governor Mills Godwin, Jr. approved of the Rappahannock Safety Committee which had been formed and the Clerk was instructed to pass this information along to the Committee Chairman R. E. Wood. Clerk E. M. Jones requested the purchase of a 2-drawer file for his office for some legal papers. Approval was given. Supervisor Norman Wilbur reported the availability of signs to be put at each dumping unit stating provisions for the use of the dumpsters. He was given the jo ahead on securing same. Wallace Critzer was present to discuss work done in maintaining the county dump and was requested to push it in again and :lean up the area.
A meeting was set up for Eebruary 25 at which time the local supervisors will meet with the Culpeper County Board of Supervisors to discuss the assessment of land along the Rappahannock-Culpeper county lines. The Board was informed that five companies had submitted to insure county properties.
Before adjournment, current accounts were approved for payment.
