Parade and prize winners at the annual Amissville Firemens Carnival are as follows: Earl Landis of Orange was awarded the car. Mr. Landis said he had a pickup and a camper but no auto and was delighted with his good fortune. D. Kowarsch of Amissville received the portable television and the transistor radio went to C. Bouthilet of Amissville. The three $25 Savings Bonds were given Morman Payne of Culpeper; Margaret Tylek of Amissville; and to Amissville Fire Company purchased by Del. Tom F'rost for the organization. Dot Burnette of F'ront Royal received the $100 cash given by the Ladies Auxiliary.
Miss Cheryl Poling was named Queen of the carnival and received her crystal tiara from outgoing title holder Debbie Poe. Carolyn Glascock was in second place and third in line was Debbie Martin.
In the Thursday night parade, Flint Hill was named the best appearing and equipped fire apparatus over 500 gpm and Warrenton received the trophy for the same under 500 gpm.
