Allentown Senior Firettes were named the best majorette group and second was James Monroe Majorettes. Carolyn Martin was the best individual majorette. Catlett received the award for best appearing ladies auxiliary and the MYF float was voted the best civic float. Falls Church Model T Ford took the prize for best commercial float, and Bridges Traveling Clowns were the best comic entry.
