Mr. and Mrs. Styer will leave from Houston, Texas on Saturday on the cargo liner Musi Lloyd of the Nedloyd Line on a four months trip which will take them around the world.
Tuesday night dinner guests of Judge and Mrs. B. M. Miller were Col. and Mrs. E. A. McNear, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Styer and Mrs. Henry M. Keyser.
Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Hopkins and Miss Alice Anderson, all of Glen Bumie, Md. were visitors last Wednesday of Mr. and Mrs. Loring Anderson.
John M. Anderson is spending two weeks at Ft. Meade, Md. with the Army Reserves.
Sunday evening guests for picnic supper of Judge and Mrs. B. M. Miller were Mr. and Mrs. George Morgan of Annandale and Mr. and Mrs. Bobbie Smith and daughter Amy and Leeanne of Springfield. Mrs. Morgan and Mrs. Smith were the former Misses Doris Daugherty and Harriett Good, Home Demonstration agents.
Drucilla Davis returned home Monday from Camp Lake Crest in New York state where she had spent two months. She was accompanied by her mother, Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr. Mrs. Davis and Drucilla visited the Rev. and Mrs. Park Dickerson and family in Johnson, Vt. before returning home.
Mrs. Allie Huff and Mrs. Dan Jacobs were in Charlottesville last Tuesday on business. Mrs. Huff also visited her sister-in-law, Mrs. Clyde Perry. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Perry and son of Culpeper were Tuesday night visitors of the Huffs. Mrs. Huff spent the day Thursday with her sister, Mrs. Frank Jenkins in Fairfax.
