Sponsors Reading Hour
A Children’s Hour will be held at the Rappahannock Library on Saturday mornings, beginning Saturday, September 13 at 10 o’clock. All young children will be welcomed at an hour of reading aloud by a group of High School students which will include Miss Cil Davis, Miss Donna Roy and Miss Joanne Aylor. A good assortment of children’s books will be on display and available for borrowing.

Chester Gap Revival
A revival will be held at the Chester Gap Baptist Mission from September 21 until October 1. Services each evening are scheduled for 7:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Sunday services will be at 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., according to the pastor the Rev. Roy Mathena. The guest Evangelist will be the Rev. Wendell Patterson of Tazewell Baptist Church, Tazewell, Va. A nursery is provided and a cordial welcome is extended everyone.
NOTICE
Sunday morning worship service at Amissville Methodist Church this Sunday, Sept. 21, will be held at 10 a.m. instead of the usual hour. Guest speaker will be Dr. Harvey Ashby who has recently assumed the position of Superintendent of Charlottesville District of Methodist churches
The change in the hour of services is to avoid conflict with the Homecoming Service at Oak Shade Methodist Church at which Dr. Ashby will also speak at 11 a.m.
