Howard were Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Gardner and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Gardner of Arlington. Mrs. Nina B. Brown spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. George Taylor in Culpeper. Weekend visitors of Mrs. W. B. Kilby were Mrs. Elizabeth Rivercomb of Culpeper and Mr. and Mrs. Cotton Brewington of Arlington. Mrs. F. D. Coffey and son, Frank and Mrs. Perle Coffey were recent visitors of Mrs. Clara Coffey and son, John of Tyro. Mrs. Coffey and Frank visited Mr. and Mrs. Melba Rector and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Rector of Marshall on Thursday. Mrs. Coffey spent the weekend in the Rector home and on Sunday was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Rector and family of Winchester. Maury Brown had minor surgery last week at University Hospital, Charlottesville. Mrs. Donald Williams of Richmond was a guest in the Brown home on Friday. Mrs. Brown returned home with her and remained until Sunday when Mrs. Jean Konek of Richmond accompanied Mrs. Brown to Charlottesville and Mr. Brown accompanied them home. Kristi Clarke, accompanied by her mother, was in University Hospital several days last week for a tonsillectomy. Afternoon callers of the Clarkes on Friday were Mr. and Mrs. James Falls and son, Timothy David of Woodville, Mrs. Amos Clarke and daughter, Patrica of Washington, Mrs. Pete Clatterbuck and daughter, Cindy and Mrs. Ruby Cook of Culpeper and Susan Coates.
