day Saturday in Fredericksburg md accompanied by Miss Carter Moffett who entered her freshman year at Mary Washington College. On Sunday Judge and Mrs. Moffett and Page accompanied Frank Moffett to Richmond where he is enrolled as a sophomore at the University of Richmond. Page Moffett returned to the University of Virginia after spending the weekend with his parents.
Mrs. John A. Burke is surgical patient in the Culpeper Memorial Hospital after having suffered a broken hip from a fall.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Burke returned to their home on Blue Ridge Avenue on Sunday after spending four weeks at Poplar Ridge Farm in Warrenton home of their son Ashton W. Burke and Mrs. Burke, who were vacationing in the Western states.
Miss Mildred B. Fletcher and Nick Slater of Richmond were luncheon guests Saturday of Mrs. W. M. Fletcher.
Birthday Celebrated
Mr. and Mrs. Archie Dodson of Peola Mills gave a dinner on Sunday to celebrate the fifteenth birthday of their daughter Judy.
Guests included John Lamb md Mrs. Sally White and children Susan, Reed and Jim of Washington, D. C., Mr. and Mrs. Marerlae C. Chschoh and son David, Mrs. Gloria H. Nicholson, C. H. Wilson and Jim Day, all of Falls Church; Albert Woodard of Banco, Dan Dodson, Buddy Sisk, Miss Anne Sisk, Miss Monica Walker, Bobby Lillard, Roy Sisk, James Fincham, Roy Fincham and Jim Fincham, all of Sperryville; Charles and Roy Haynes of Etlan; Mr. and Mrs. Brew Burke and daughter Miss Peggy Burke and Mrs. Burke’s granddaughter Luellen Thornhill, all of Boston.
Also present were the honoree’s ten brothers and sisters all of whom live at home. They are Joan, Susan, Faye, Peggy and Patty, Donnie, Steve, Archie, Jr., Jimmy and John Wayne.
Miss Dodson received many beautiful and useful gifts.
