Guests for dinner Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Dennis and L. H. Luttrell were Dr. Homer Luttrell and son Richard Luttrell of Pulaski, Miss Mary Hughes of Richmond, Mrs. Russell Luttrell of Culpeper and Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Doyle. Miss Hughes remained to spend this week in the Luttrell home. Miss Landra Dennis was accompanied to Richmond Saturday by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Dennis, when she returned to V.C.U. to resume her studies.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Poling spent from Wednesday until Monday in Portsmouth and while there were visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Kirk in addition to shopping for merchandise for their Rocky Horse Antique Shop here.
Mr. and Mrs. Julian Welch of Hume were visitors Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Smith and P. J. Smith.
Mrs. A. C. Latham and Mrs. George Kidwell spent Monday in Charlottesville.
Mrs. Sarah Latham and daughter Susan spent the weekend in Herndon where they were the guests of Mrs. Latham’s mother Mrs. C. C. Cockerill and of Mr. and Mrs. James Cockerill and sons Kevin and Jimmy. Saturday evening Mrs. Latham and Mrs. Cockerill visited Mrs. C. P. Keyes and Miss Margie Hummer at Sterling. On Sunday they were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Kephart and son Michael, who also had as their houseguest Miss Marie Garnett of Richmond.
