Chester Gap WMS Meets With Pastor
The Chester Gap Baptist Woman’s Missionary Society met at the home of Rev. and Mrs. Roy Mathena Tuesday evening at 7:30 with nine members and six visitors present.
The Season of Prayer Program for State Missions was used with each member taking a part. The theme “Entrusted To Me” was used. An offering and prayer was given for the Mission work in Virginia. Mrs. Evelyn Burke, President, announced the next meeting of the W.M.S. will be held October 14th at 7:30 p.m.

Circle Holds Program
The Ann Dwyer Circle of Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church W.M.S. of Sperryville met Tuesday night at the home of Mrs. Jody Wingfield. “Present-Day Disciples” was the program theme which was given by Mrs. Betty Coates, assisted by other circle members, Mrs. Wingfield, Mrs. Roberta Anderson, Mrs. Mary Anna Boze, Mrs. Judy Harrison, and Mrs. Mary Clarke. After the program, refreshments were served by the hostess.
