In making this announcement, Mr. Frost said that although the Committee has conducted preliminary studies to define specific problems, they have not yet considered specific measures for amending the existing laws. This body will conduct the hearing for the purpose of receiving views from all segments of the public regarding any aspect of laws that now exist, or may be proposed, regarding both mechanics’ liens and registration of general contractors and subcontractors.
