Hitt Reunion Well
Attended Sunday
The family reunion of the descendants of the late Jim and Nellie Hitt held Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Scott, Viewtown was well attended and enjoyed. Among those present were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hitt, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hitt, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Hitt, Mrs. Willie Hensley, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Sutphin, and Mr. and Mrs. Louie Cubbage, all of Culpeper; Mrs. Mabel Hitt and Crystal Hitt, Paul Smith, and Mr. and Mrs. Everett Smith and family of Amissville; Mrs. Florene Smith, Arlington; Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Clatterbuck and sons of Manassas;; Miss Phyllis Woodard, Larry Ryder, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Fletcher and family of Warrenton; Mr. and Mrs. Jujian Welch, Flint Hill; Mr. and Mrs. [ Lee Brown and sons, Elkwood;' Mr. and Mrs. Roger Gough and ;ons and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Woodard of Brandy Station; Mr. ind Mrs. James H. Mrs. H. C. Pullen were Mr. and Mrs. Earl Putnam and daughters Marie and Linday of Front Royal and their son Earl Putnam, Jr. who is on a 30 day leave from duty in Okinawa.
Robert L. Massie, Jr. of Richmond spent the week-end with his mother Mrs. F. W. Spalding.
Mr. and Mrs. James E. Yates of Front Royal were Saturday supper guests of Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr. Her guests on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Smith of Richmond.
Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning were week-end guests of Mrs. Browning’s brother and sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Luther Kay in Springfield
