Christmas Bazaar
Set Saturday, Dec. 6
Unique, exquisite, cute, lovely and pretty are a few of the words which could be used to describe the large selection of articles that will be included in the annual Christmas Bazaar sponsored by the Rappahannock County Garden Club. The Bazaar is scheduled for Saturday, December 6 at Trinity Episcopal Church parish hall in Washington, Va. Sale hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Mrs. T. J. Pillar, chairman of the bazaar, reports that there will be a large variety of decorations for tree, table, mantle, door, wall and window. Handmade items and candies, cookies, jellies, etc. will also be available.
Refreshments consisting of tea, coffee and cookies will be served and the public is invited to browse and buy,
Funds realized from the bazaar will be used to send a local youngster to Nature Camp’and some added to a scholarship fund established by the club.
