Area Thanksgiving Worship Service Set
A Community Thanksgiving Day Service with the joint churches, Baptist, Episcopal and Methodist participating will be held Thursday, November 27, at the Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church in Sperryville at 10 a m. The Rev. William M. Hargett, rector of 'rrinity Episcopal Church will be the main speaker. The collection from this service will be given to the Youth of the county for their community projects.

The Sperryville United Methodist Church will serve a Thanksgiving Day Dinner, | Thursday, Nov. .21 from 1 to 5j
p.m. at the new Fire Hall in[ Sperryville. The menu will include turkey with all the trimmings, sweet potatoes, lima beans, kraut, congealed salads, pumpkin pie and beverages. Adult plate, $2.00; children, $1.00. The public is invited to attend.
Historical Society
Meeting Dec. 5
A meeting of the Rappahannock Historical Society is scheduled for Friday, December 5, 1969 at 7:45 p.m. (The date was incorrectly stated last week.) The meeting will be held at Rappahannock Library and will feature a speaker from the National Trust. A discussion on the antiquities of Rappahannock will take place also.
