There are many ways by which we can express appreciation, the Spanish GRACIAS, the French MERC I and our plain old American THANK YOU. I’m no linquist, but I am sure that in all languages there must be words that would say the equivalent of that.
As we stuff ourselves with the traditional Thanksgiving Day goodies, will we pause to give thanks to the One who made it all possible or will we reach for the old ‘bicarb’ and CUSS ourselves for being such gluttons?
Out of time and space God has given us a Thanksgiving Day, out of His divine prodigality He has provided us with the necessities for life, so, let’s not only be thankful at this season, rather let all our days be a
THANKSGIVING DAY.
