Benefit Supper at Amiss ville Methodist
There will be an Old Virginia Ham and Chicken Dinner at the Amissville Methodist Church social hall on Saturday, May 2, 1970. Dinner will be served from 5 until 8 p.m. and will be $2 foi adults and $1 for children under 12. The,W.S.C.S. of the church is sponsoring the dinner and the public is extended a cordial welcome.
Groves Indicted
On Murder Charge
Walter Groves of Jeffersonton, charged with the murder of Bussell Thomas Haines of Amissville, was indicted following a preliminary hearing which began at 10 a,m. Monday morning. The case was heard by Judge W. F. Moffett, Jr. in Rappahannock County Court and was sent to the grand jury.
