Mrs. Frances Grimsely exhibited a display of finished pieces of toie stenciling including trays and furniture at the meeting Tuesday of the Arts and crafts Group held at Cab-Inn, Sperryville. The next meeting of the group, scheduled for May 12 will be a workshop on tole stenciling. Anyone interested in participating is requested to bring a piece of shelf paper or cardboard coated with flat black paint, a varnish brush, a cut Stencil pattern and two contrasting shades of gold stencil powder or silver and gold stencil powder. May 16 has been selected as the date for the spring luncheon and craft display which will be held at Cab-Inn. The display will also include antique dolls. The luncheon is $1.50 and will be at 1 p.m. For reservations call Mrs. Kilby or Mrs. Pillar. The public is welcome to view without charge the handcraft display between the hours of 10 a m. and 2 p.m.
