Odle Washington Nicholson of Flint Hill died in Warren Memorial Hospital April 15, 1970 st the age of 74. Funeral services were held April 18 at the Maddox Funeral Home conducted by Capt. Berkley Jenkins. Burial was In Prospect Hill Cemetery. Mr. Nicholson was bom in Rappahannock County, a son of Newton and Emily Corbin Nicholson. His wife was the late Elizabeth Corbin Nicholson. He was a veteran of World War I. Surviving are two sons, James 0. of Flint Hill and Woodrow W. of Richmond; seven daughters, Mrs. Rhoda Prince and Florine Nicholson of Front Royal; Thelma Nicholson of Maryland, Mrs. Emily Frazier of Limeton, Mrs. Catherine Dodson of Winchester, Mrs. Dorothy Lilly of Washington, Va., Barbara Nicholson of Kirby, W.Va., 47 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was the brother of John and Andrew Nicholson, Culpeper; Louis Nicholson, Charles Town, W.Va.; Mrs. Mary Suduth, Luray; Mrs. Monte Corbin, Flint Hill; Mrs. Matilda Dodson, Mrs. Susie Dodson, Mrs. Cynthia Vance, Winchester.
Pallbearers were members of Giles B. Cook Post, American Legion. Grandchildren served as honorary pallbearers.
