PANTHER TALES By Sandra Payne The Senior Class is sponsoring a Cake Walk at Castletdn on Saturday, May 2. “Slave Day” held last week proved to be very profitable for the Seniors. They realized a tidy sum to help with the senior trip. The F.H.A. and F.F.A. clubs are planning a combined picnic scheduled for May 15 at the Pinnacles picnic grounds on Skyline Drive. May 16 has been selected as the date for the Junior-Senior Prom at the school. You guys had better hurry and ask that favorite girl for her company for that special night. The band will be “Sandy and the Satins” from Winchester. Today is important for the ■ large group of girls from the 7th ' to the eleventh grades who have tried out for the cheerleading squad. Final selections will be ‘ made today for the cheerleaders of R.C.H.S. for 1970-71. Good luck to the winners and a hearty thanks to all who were involved for their participation and efforts.
