When I started writing this column, it was my purpose to deal only in matters pertaining to the spiritual. I’ve tried to avoid politics and controversial conflicts. That does not mean that I can’t wander into the paths of levity. I understand there is some speculation as to what kind of a nut is writing this, nohow, or something like that there. Well, do you know the Kidd family that lives just outside of town? I’m the old man Kidd’s backward boy, Stewart; Stew for short. I don’t mind being called by my nickname. I don’t think it necessary to use my surname when I am spoken to. In fact, some people seem to pronounce both as one word.
I’ll admit there are a lot of things I don’t know. I just learned
recommended.
Commercial thinning, recommended as good forest management, waits until the discarded trees have grown enough to interest pulpwood buyers and others whose equipment can handle small logs.
