Salem for ladies, the Mount Marshall for gentlemen, and the Mary D Slaughter open race. Among the entries in the Double Gate is Witold Kuncewicz’s Muzzle Puzzle ridden by Mike Pearson. This combination placed second at Casanova in the Seventh race last Saturday. The eighth and final event is the unique hound drag race which has drawn 41 hound entries to date. The race is open to all hound owners in the Rappahannock Hunt territory and-or members of the Northern Virginia Foxhunters Association, but is closed to recognized Hunt Club hounds. This drag has always been a favorite with both spectators and participants and co-chairmen Bill Lyne and Clifton Clark predict this will be the best ever run.
