Single Car Crash
A single-car crash slightly injured three people Saturday afternoon at Amissville. Eugene French Triplett, Jr. of Brandy Station sustained a lacerated right knee when he over turned in a ’62 Pontiac sedan on Route 642. Passengers with him, Celeste Ann Butler an infant and Valerie Mae Butler, 14, both of Viewtown received lacerations and abrasions.
Triplett lost control of the vehicle as he rounded a curve, struck the bank and turned over. He was charged with reckless driving according to Trooper J. B. Willis who investigated. The crash occurred at 4:15 p.m.
