were of outstanding interest to toe judges. One was the series of community meetings the Cooperative holds each spring throughout its service area. In these meetings some phase of the Cooperative’s operations is explained to"1 the members, and any questions they have are answered. Another unusual feature is the Member Action Committee which is a group of members from all over the service territory. They meet six times a year to learn about the Cooperative and to advise the Cooperative management and Board about items of interest to the membership.
Special praise was also given the Cooperative for the contributions its Board, staff, and employees make to the community by their participation in various civic and service clubs, youth groups and churches.
