Rappahannock Library was packed and jammed most of the afternoon Sunday during which time demonstrations were given on various crafts and handwork. It was estimated that more than 300 people attended the Fourth of July celebration, exhibit and program which began at 1:30 and continued through the day. The evening program was held at Avon Hall, home of Mr. and Mrs. William Carrigan and was climaxed by a vivid extensive display of fireworks.
