Amissville Rescue Squad was called to the home of John Mizik on June 25 and took his mother Mrs. Martha Mizik to Fauquier Hospital. On July 3 a child was taken from the home of Mrs. Nellie King to the same hospital. Monday two victims of a traffic crash were taken to Fauquier Hospital.
Monday the Sperryville Rescue Squad took Floyd Menefee from his home to the University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville. The Sperryville unit took Pearl Jenkins from her home in the F.T. Valley to Culpeper Memorial Hospital Monday night. Tuesday Mr. and Mrs. Henry Galvin were taken from a traffic crash on Route 211 to Page Memorial Hospital. Sperryville Fire Department responded to a house fire Monday night in Jenkins Hollow where the home of Junior Jenkins was destroyed.
Amissville Fire Department answered an alarm to a barn fire on the property of Elwood Dean Tuesday afternoon.
