Daniel Noce, Chief of Staff in Germany at the close of World War II and honored with other positions of the General Staff, testified as to his long and valued acquaintance wit the guest speaker of the day, Congressman J. Kenneth Robinson.
Mr Robinson spoke with feeling for some twenty minutes on the issues facing the nation today, marking the problem of overlapping departments in the nation’s capital and suggesting for the consideration of those present, (hat many of the issues facing localities could better be served by the communities themselves rather than the Federal Government.

Arts Meetings Suspended
There will be no meetings of the Rappahannock Arts and Crafts Group during the remainder of July and through August. Announcement will be made at a later date concerning activities of the group.
Sperry ville Methodist Sunday School Picnic
The members of the Sperryville United Methodist Sunday School will hold their annual picnic on Sunday, July 11, at the Methodist Camp at Boston. Those attending will leave the church at 11.-15 a.m. Transportation will be provided those who need it.
