Mr. and Mrs. Edward E. Clark and family were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Wilt of Washington, D C. at their summer weekend home at Ft. Littleton, Pa.
Robert Lee Massie, Jr. of Richmond spent the week-end with his mother Mrs. F. W. Spalding.
Mrs. Ertha Corbin of Falls Church is spending two weeks with her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Gavor Foster. On Sunday a family picnic was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Foster. Others present included Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Foster, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Foster, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Foster and daughters Sharon and Charlotte, Mr. and Mrs. John Jenkins and daughter Vicky, Mr. and Mrs. Roland Welch, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Welch, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Welch and sons, Mrs. James Fincham and daughter Mrs. Owen Sealock and Levi Corbin, all of Flint Hill, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Corbin and two sons of Hart wood, Mrs. Pat Corbin and daughter Bonnie and Pat of Alexandria, Mr. and Mrs. Vance Butler, Mr. and Mrs. Foley Butler and Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Nalls of Warrenton, Mr. and Mrs. James Garwood and daughter Robin of Manassas and Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Sealock and daughter Karen of Falls Church. Mr. and Mrs. John C. Browning and sons Edgar K. and John B. Browning of Charlottesville attended the Kay family reunion held Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Palmore at Tappahannock. The annual event, termed the Kay Kaper, was attended by 28 family members. Mrs. Howard Clatterbuck has moved to Charles Town, W. Va. She was visited there Monday by her son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Clatterbuck. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Clatterbuck visited the latter’s parents Mr. and Mrs. Robert Miller at Hamilton.
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Howell and family of Madison Heights spent the week-end with Mrs. Howell’s parents Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller. The Howell family was enroute to a camping trip in Canada.
Mr. and Mrs. Emory Russell were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cook in Vienna.
Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. B. J. Wood at Sunny Slope and luncheon at the Rappahannock Library were Mr. and Mrs. Carl Thompson of Front Royal.
M. H. Brady was visited at Winchester Memorial Hospital by members of his family who spent the week-end with Mrs. Brady. James Pullen and daughter Denise of Falls Church were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Pullen. W. L. Golladay of Woodstock spent several days last week with his son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nichols and family. Scoutmaster Paul Nichols and members of Boy Scout Troop No. 36 are spending this week at Boy Scout Camp Rock Enon in Gore. Mr. and Mrs. M. R. Bradford III of Knoxville, Tenn. spent several days with Mr. and Mrs. Bradford jr. and Miss Virginia Yates Bradford. Sunday evening the Bradfords entertained with a cook-out. Additional guests included Mrs. E. M. Eastham and Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Burford. Miss Bradford left Monday for Houston, Tex. where she will attend summer school. Mrs. Jack Rottier of Annandale and Mrs. Edward Pawley of Rock Mills were callers during the week-end of Mrs. E. M. Eastham.

Pfc. William A. Burke of Amissville left Wednesday, June 29 for a tour of duty in Germany with the U. S. Army. He will be joined later by his wife, Mrs. Vivkie S. Burke who is presently staying with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Jesse J. Settle at Amissville.
